Introduction

Even with all the right precautions and assistance from authorities, unfortunate incidents can still occur. This is the case for YouTuber Kies Motorsports, who finds themselves in a difficult situation.

The Stolen BMW M3

Kies Motorsports is seeking help from the BMW community and its loyal fan base to locate their stolen Ferrari Red F80 BMW M3. The vehicle, which has been tuned to produce an impressive 1,000 hp, holds significant sentimental value for the garage. They have invested over $175,000 into this car, only to have it stolen using a fake cashier’s check.

The Story

In a video shared by Kies Motorsports, CEO Bryan Kiefer narrates the events surrounding the theft. According to Kiefer, the car was listed for sale and a potential buyer named John Clay made an offer of $75,000, which was accepted. “Clay” arrived with a cashier’s check valued at $75,000, which Kiefer verified at a bank. The bank confirmed the check’s authenticity and deposited the funds into Kiefer’s account. Satisfied with the transaction, Kiefer handed over the keys.

However, four days later, the bank withdrew the funds, revealing that the account and routing number were completely false. Kiefer offered “Clay” a chance to return the car without any questions asked, but the deadline passed without the vehicle being returned. Kiefer believes that “Clay” used a fake last name and has been in continued communication with him.

Kiefer attempted to negotiate a resolution by suggesting a mutually convenient location for the car’s return, but this approach also failed. While seeking assistance from the authorities, Kiefer has turned to the BMW community for support in recovering his stolen BMW M3.

Appeal for Help

The BMW M3 and its build process documented on Kies Motorsports’ YouTube channel played a crucial role in establishing the garage. Losing the car under these circumstances is undoubtedly tough. If anyone has information that could assist in locating the stolen BMW M3, they are encouraged to reach out via email to tips[at]kies.com.

Our sympathies are with Kiefer and the entire Kies Motorsports team during this difficult time.
