Month 1 Overview
Life with a Ford Ranger Raptor: Month 1
Initial Impressions – 28 February 2024
The Ford Ranger Raptor has captured my heart, despite my preference for small, light cars. This off-roader, with its powerful engine and rugged design, has me dreaming of adventures in far-off lands where I can truly unleash its capabilities.
The Raptor is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine, offering impressive performance on British roads. Its off-road prowess is enhanced by specialized suspension and four-wheel drive, making it a versatile and capable vehicle.
Inside, the Raptor exudes quality and comfort, with a generous list of standard features that justify its price tag. Despite its size, the Raptor remains refined and composed on the road, offering a relaxing driving experience.
Second Opinion
Our colleague Steve Cropley compares the Ford Ranger Raptor to a Caterham Seven, highlighting its unique appeal and practicality. The Raptor offers a thrilling driving experience on a variety of roads and in all weather conditions.
