Introduction

Audi Sport is gearing up to unveil its next electric RS model, the RS Q6 E-tron, in the upcoming year. This high-performance version of the Q6 E-tron promises to deliver a bold and distinctive design, setting it apart from the SQ6.

Shared Technology with Porsche Macan EV

The Q6 E-tron range has been developed in collaboration with the Porsche Macan Electric, sharing the same Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture and essential components such as chassis, battery, and electronics. The RS Q6 is expected to borrow the Macan Turbo’s powertrain, boosting power to an impressive 621bhp for a quick 0-62mph acceleration of just 3.3 seconds.

Bespoke Design and Features

The RS Q6 E-tron will feature bold styling elements reminiscent of Audi’s current RS models, including muscular haunches, large wheels, and a unique RS interior. Audi aims to differentiate the RS Q6 from the Macan by focusing more on comfort and luxury.

Pricing and Availability

While specific pricing and specifications are yet to be confirmed, the SQ6 E-tron starts at £93,675, indicating that the RS Q6 E-tron could enter the six-figure price range. The Sportback version of the Q6 E-tron is also in the works, offering similar mechanical features with a sleeker design.

Interior and Technology

The interior of the RS Q6 E-tron is expected to feature Audi’s standard technology, including a 12.6-inch driver cluster, a 10.9-inch infotainment screen, and an optional passenger touchscreen for added convenience and entertainment.
