Coming to the U.S.

For the first time ever, the M5 Touring will be officially offered for sale in the United States.

Pricing and Launch

Pricing for the M5 Touring starts at $121,500, and it will be globally launched in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Introduction

If you’re looking for a fast and practical vehicle to accommodate your family and luggage, the all-new 2025 BMW M5 Touring is the perfect choice. This will be the first time a longroof M5 is officially sold in the United States, as previous M5 wagons were primarily available in Europe.

Weight and Performance

The M5 Touring is heavier than the sedan, weighing approximately 5,530 lbs (2,508 kg), which is 140 lbs (63 kg) more than its four-door counterpart. However, despite its weight, the M5 Touring offers impressive performance with a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) time of around 3.5 seconds.

Stylish Design

The M5 Touring features a mean-looking design with prominently flared rear wheel arches. While the rear doors may not seamlessly blend with the overall design, the car boasts a neatly integrated roof spoiler and other stylish elements.

Power and Features

The M5 Touring shares its powertrain with the sedan, featuring a 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine and an electrical system. It produces a combined output of 717 hp (727 PS / 535 kW) and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. The car comes with M5-specific interior lighting, a new steering wheel design, BMW’s Operating System 8.5, and the Curved Display with M-specific graphics.

Pricing and Availability

The 2025 BMW M5 Touring will debut at the Pebble Beach Automotive Week on August 15. It will be available for purchase globally in the fourth quarter of 2024, with a starting price of $121,500 plus a $1,175 destination and handling fee. The M5 Touring will be built alongside the sedan at BMW’s Dingolfing plant.
