2025 Genesis G80: Pricing and Upgrades
Introduction
Genesis introduced the facelifted G80 last fall and now the brand is gearing up to launch it in America. As part of this effort, they’ve announced pricing will begin at $57,100.
Price Increase and Upgrades
The 2025 Genesis G80 will arrive at U.S. dealerships shortly and be priced from $57,100. This is $2,700 more than its predecessor, but the facelifted luxury sedan sports revised styling and an upgraded interior with a 27-inch OLED display.
Exterior Changes
Costing $2,700 more than last year’s model, the 2025 G80 sports an evolutionary design with revised fascias and updated wheels. They’re joined by a revamped color palette and new Micro Lens Array LED headlights.
Interior Upgrades
Bigger changes occur inside as the model adopts a new dashboard and an expansive 27-inch OLED display. Buyers will also find a new steering wheel, a revised center console, and updated switchgear.
Equipment and Features
In terms of equipment, the entry-level G80 2.5T AWD has rain-sensing wipers and a hands-free “smart trunk” with an auto open function. The model also has 18-inch alloy wheels and power-folding mirrors with integrated Genesis puddle lamps.
Interior Comfort and Technology
The interior comes nicely equipped with leatherette upholstery, piano black trim, and heated seats in both rows. They’re joined by a heated power steering wheel, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, and a 64-color ambient lighting system. Other highlights include a 12-speaker audio system, a fingerprint authentication system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink.
Driver Assistance and Safety
Buyers will find an alphabet soup of driver assistance systems including Smart Cruise Control, Highway Driving Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Lane Keeping / Lane Following Assist. Other safety features include Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Assist, and High Beam Assist.
Engine and Performance
Power is provided by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 300 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which is paired to a standard all-wheel drive system.
