Genesis Unveils 2025 GV80 and GV80 Coupe at Los Angeles Auto Show

Genesis has officially introduced the highly anticipated 2025 GV80 and GV80 Coupe models, which are set to make their North American debut at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. While these models have been previously revealed, we will now focus on the U.S. specifications and the unique features they offer.

Eye-Catching Design of the GV80 Coupe

The GV80 Coupe stands out with its striking design, featuring exclusive 20- and 22-inch wheels. The rear end of the coupe boasts an angular window and a pronounced spoiler, adding to its sporty appeal.

Facelifted GV80 with Updated Styling

The facelifted GV80 showcases a revised grille and a new front bumper with larger intakes. It also features a faux skid plate and new chrome trim. While additional changes are minimal, the crossover does adopt a new rear bumper, hidden exhaust, and restyled wheels.

Interior Upgrades and Advanced Technology

Inside the GV80, drivers will find a new dashboard and a stunning 27-inch OLED display. The center console has been redesigned to accommodate larger cup holders, and the shifter now boasts a “crystal-like” design. Other notable features include a redesigned wireless smartphone charger, physical volume and tuning knobs, and a more traditional three-spoke steering wheel. The pedals have also been improved for enhanced comfort. The GV80 Coupe offers exclusive patterns and stitching for added luxury.

Powerful Engine Options

The GV80 will be available with two engine options. The first is a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 300 horsepower (224 kW / 304 PS). The second option is a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine delivering 375 horsepower (280 kW / 380 PS). On the other hand, the GV80 Coupe will offer a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine with an electric supercharger, generating an impressive 409 horsepower (305 kW / 415 PS). The entry-level variant’s engine has not been confirmed yet, but it is likely to be the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder, which serves as the base engine in other markets. More detailed specifications and pricing will be announced next year.
