“2025 Honda Vezel Japan Debut: Upgraded with New Hunt Package | Giga Gears”

The 2025 Honda Vezel: A Refreshed SUV with New Features

Introduction

The Honda Vezel, known as the HR-V in Europe, has undergone a subtle facelift in Japan, three years after its initial release. The updated SUV now features minor visual enhancements, a new “Hunt Package” designed for outdoor enthusiasts, an improved hybrid powertrain, and various equipment upgrades.

Exterior Changes

The 2025 Honda Vezel maintains its distinctive look but with noticeable updates compared to its predecessor. Changes include a redesigned front bumper, revised LED taillight graphics, and a squared-off grille that gives the vehicle a slightly narrower appearance. The overall design showcases dynamic lines and horizontal elements in the full-LED taillights.

Interior and Safety Features

Inside, the Vezel retains its 7-inch digital instrument cluster and 9-inch infotainment display. Safety features have been enhanced with additions like traffic jam assist, sudden acceleration suppression, and adaptive high beam functions. The Honda Connect system allows for remote operation of the electric tailgate via a smartphone.

The “Hunt Package” and Accessories

Honda has introduced a new “Hunt Package” based on the e:HEV X trim level, featuring roof rails, 16-inch aluminum wheels, orange bodywork accents, and water-repellent upholstery. Owners can further customize their Vezel with genuine accessories categorized into urban, sports, casual, and active styles.

Powertrain Options

The updated Vezel offers a choice between a 1.5-liter petrol engine and a self-charging hybrid (1.5 e:HEV) in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The hybrid model has undergone refinements to improve driving dynamics and reduce engine noise in urban settings.

Availability

The 2025 Honda Vezel is set to launch in Japan in April 2024. Similar updates are expected to reach the EU-spec Honda HR-V in the coming months.
