2025 Hyundai Elantra: Pricing and Trim Changes Announced
Introduction
Hyundai has recently revealed the pricing and trim changes for the 2025 Elantra. Let’s take a closer look at what’s new for this model year.
Pricing Updates
The base model of the 2025 Elantra will start at $21,875, which is $250 more than the previous year. This pricing puts it slightly above the Nissan Sentra in terms of cost.
Trim Changes
The Elantra SEL has been replaced by two new trims: SEL Convenience and SEL Sport. The SEL Convenience trim includes the previous features of the Elantra SEL along with additional upgrades such as aluminum pedals, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a wireless smartphone charger. On the other hand, the SEL Sport trim offers a sportier look with a gloss black rear spoiler, matching mirror caps, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Hybrid Model Updates
The 2025 Elantra Hybrid Blue now starts at $25,100, which is $1,150 less than the previous year. However, some features have been removed from this model, including the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, heated front seats, and the larger infotainment system. Despite these changes, the Elantra Hybrid still focuses on efficiency and can achieve up to 54 mpg combined.
Performance Options
The mainstream variants of the 2025 Elantra come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. The N Line trim offers a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The Elantra Hybrid also features a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine, but with a combined output of 139 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.
