“2025 Kia EV6 GT: Enhanced Battery and Interior Upgrades | Giga Gears”

Spy Shots: Facelifted Kia EV6 GT Spotted Testing in Europe

  • The facelifted Kia EV6 GT has been caught by spy photographers during testing in Europe.
  • Like the regular model, the GT variant features updated styling and an upgraded interior.
  • Specific details about the GT are still unknown, but improvements to the battery pack and a simulated seven-speed transmission are expected.

Kia unveiled the facelifted EV6 earlier this year, and now spy shots have emerged of the high-performance GT version undergoing testing in Europe.

The heavily camouflaged electric hatch shares similarities with the regular model, including new headlights with flowing daytime running lights. However, the GT stands out with its unique front bumper and distinctive lower intake.

The performance theme continues with lightweight wheels and neon yellow calipers, indicating the presence of a high-performance braking system. Changes to the rear of the GT are still unclear, but a modified bumper and revised taillights are expected.

While the interior remains unseen in the spy shots, it is rumored that the GT will feature a new panoramic curved display consisting of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a matching infotainment system. Other upgrades may include a new steering wheel, improved wireless smartphone charger, and a center console-mounted fingerprint authentication system.

Powertrain enhancements are also anticipated, building upon the fourth-generation battery with increased energy density found in the standard model. The current EV6 GT boasts a dual motor all-wheel drive system producing 576 hp and 545 lb-ft of torque, enabling impressive acceleration and a top speed of 161 mph. Recent reports suggest that the GT will also receive a simulated seven-speed transmission from the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.
