2025 Volkswagen Jetta and Jetta GLI Facelift Teased Ahead of Debut

Volkswagen is gearing up to unveil the facelifted Jetta and Jetta GLI on June 25. The updated models will feature refreshed styling and an upgraded interior with a new infotainment system. Here’s what we know so far:

Debut Date and Availability

• The official debut of the Jetta and Jetta GLI is set for June 25 at 9 a.m. ET.
• Both models are expected to hit dealerships by the end of the third quarter.

Exterior Updates

A teaser image released by Volkswagen hints at a new front bumper design with a honeycomb mesh intake. The image also showcases “Let’s Go” messaging alongside a highway and bridge graphic.

Interior Enhancements

Previous images have revealed a sleek grille with an illuminated lower bar, new lighting units, and a modernized dashboard. The updated models will also feature a revised interior layout and a new infotainment system.

Engine Specs

While details on the powertrain remain scarce, the current Jetta is equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 158 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. The Jetta GLI, on the other hand, boasts a more powerful turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque.
