The Taos has quickly become one of Volkswagen’s best-selling vehicles, and now it’s getting a facelift. The 2025 model is set to debut tomorrow morning and will be available for purchase later this year.

Volkswagen has released a teaser image of the new front end, showcasing a slender fully enclosed grille with an illuminated strip at the top. This design is reminiscent of other Volkswagen models like the Golf and Tiguan. The crossover also features new headlights with X-shaped accents and a more aggressive front bumper.

The interior of the Taos may also receive revisions, potentially following the updates seen in the facelifted Jetta, which included a new infotainment system and modernized switchgear.

While details about powertrain updates are still unknown, the current Taos model is equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive variants come with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while all-wheel drive models have a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
