335 HP VW ID.Buzz GTX: The Ultimate Hippie Hauler

The New VW ID.Buzz GTX: A Closer Look

Rumors of the GTX Brand’s Demise Were Exaggerated

Contrary to previous reports, Volkswagen has not abandoned the GTX brand for its performance EVs. In fact, the brand has just unveiled three new GTX models in a week, including the first bi-motor ID.Buzz.

Performance Specs of the ID.Buzz GTX

The ID.Buzz GTX shares similarities with the ID.7 under the hood, featuring a 282 hp motor at the rear and a 108 hp motor in the front, delivering a combined output of 335 hp. The vehicle is available in two versions with different battery capacities and charging capabilities.

Enhanced All-Wheel Drive System

The all-wheel drive system in the ID.Buzz GTX not only improves acceleration and top speed but also enhances towing capacity. The vehicle can now tow up to 1,800 kg, making it comparable to some light trucks and SUVs.

Design and Color Options

The exterior design of the ID.Buzz GTX remains subtle yet sporty, with black trim and exclusive color options. The interior features black accents and microfleece seats with red detailing, emphasizing the performance-oriented nature of the vehicle.

Availability

European and UK buyers can expect the ID.Buzz GTX to be available this summer, while North American customers will have access to a similar all-wheel drive setup without the sporty trimmings at a later date.
