“4WD-Only BMW M3 Gets Power Boost with Giga Gears”

The New BMW M3: More Power, Enhanced Performance, and Stylish Upgrades

Performance Upgrades

BMW has unveiled the latest upgrades to the M3 Competition, enhancing its performance and technology features. The new model boasts a 20bhp power increase, thanks to an ECU remap, bringing the total power output to 523bhp and 479lb ft. Powered by the same twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre straight six engine, the M3 now delivers more aggressive and sustained power delivery, optimized for track performance.

Enhanced Driving Experience

The new M3 is now exclusively four-wheel-drive, with a rear-biased system that can send power to the rear wheels when stability control is disabled. The performance tweaks result in a faster 0-62mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 155mph, which can be increased with the M Driver’s package. The M3 also offers quicker acceleration times for both the saloon and estate variants.

Stylish Design Updates

On the exterior, the new M3 features subtle styling revisions, including new LED headlight designs, alloy wheel designs, and redesigned badging. Inside, the M3 boasts BMW’s latest iDrive infotainment system, augmented reality for the sat-nav, 5G connectivity, and a customizable widget bar for driver convenience. The interior also includes a curved infotainment display, instrumentation display specific to M cars, and a new flat-bottomed steering wheel available in leather or Alcantara.

Pricing and Availability

The new BMW M3 is set to be built from July, with a starting price of £82,420 for the saloon and £2280 more for the estate variant. Despite the enhancements, the M3 remains competitively priced compared to its rivals, making it an attractive option for performance enthusiasts.
