**Hyundai Unveils Modified Ioniq 5 N Crossovers for Pikes Peak Race**
Hyundai is gearing up to dominate the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with four Ioniq 5 N EVs. The lineup includes two TA Spec versions that have been extensively modified with impressive aero kits.
**Upgraded Performance**
The modified pair of Ioniq 5 N crossovers feature front and rear wings, Yoko slicks, motorsport brakes, suspension upgrades, and a tuned rear motor that adds an extra 36 horsepower. These enhancements are aimed at setting a new record in the Electric Modified SUV/Crossover class.
**Sim-Racing Partnership**
In addition to its Pikes Peak endeavor, Hyundai has announced a collaboration with the creators of the Gran Turismo game for future sim-racing projects. This partnership highlights Hyundai’s commitment to innovation and pushing the boundaries of performance.
**Serious Modifications**
Compared to the lightly modified stock Ioniq 5 Ns, the TA Spec versions are equipped with a bi-motor drivetrain that delivers a total output of 677 horsepower. The cars also feature three-way-adjustable dampers, motorsport-spec brakes, and Yokohama ADVAN 005 slicks for optimal performance.

Hyundai has enhanced the N Active Sound+ system in the Ioniq 5 N with special speakers that can produce 120 dB of simulated engine noise. This innovation eliminates the need for sirens typically used by electric cars at Pikes Peak, providing a more immersive driving experience for the team.
