Introducing the Limited Edition Abarth Classiche 1300 OT

Abarth, in celebration of their 75th anniversary, is launching a new sports car in collaboration with Stellantis Heritage. The Abarth Classiche 1300 OT is a limited edition model that pays homage to the iconic 1965 Fiat-Abarth OT 1300 and is considered an evolution of the Classiche 1000 SP from 2021.

Inspired by Racing Success

The Fiat-Abarth OT 1300 was a successful race car that achieved victories at prestigious events like the Nürburgring and Hockenheim Grand Prix. The Abarth Classiche 1300 OT draws inspiration from this historic vehicle, aiming to honor its racing legacy from half a century ago.

Design and Features

Based on the Alfa Romeo 4C platform, the Abarth Classiche 1300 OT features a new carbon fiber body inspired by the classic race car. The design includes minimalist headlights, a roof-mounted scoop, a vented hood, and a unique rear end with a center-mounted exhaust and “ABARTH” lettering on the rear fascia.

Authentic Tribute

The model incorporates a slotted plexiglass rear window for enhanced cooling, emphasizing its authenticity and genuine tribute to the Abarth brand. Stellantis Heritage describes the Abarth Classiche 1300 OT as a way to honor an epic car that remains close to the hearts of enthusiasts worldwide.

Production and Availability

As part of the Reloaded by Creators program, Stellantis Heritage is accepting orders for the limited production run of five units. This program offers enthusiasts the opportunity to own a contemporary reinterpretation of an iconic 1960s car. More details about the Abarth Classiche 1300 OT are expected to be revealed closer to its launch.

Performance

While specific details about the engine and performance are yet to be disclosed, the previous Abarth Classiche 1000 SP featured a turbocharged 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine producing 237 hp. This power allowed the sports car to achieve a top speed exceeding 155 mph.
