Alpine has recently unveiled the electric A290, a hot-hatch version of the new Renault 5 EV. This small car is the beginning of a new era for the sporty Renault sub-brand, aiming to rival Porsche in France.

Future Plans

Alpine has ambitious plans to launch seven EVs by 2030, including an electric replacement for the A110 and crossover SUVs that may reach the US market. The A290 is the first of these models to be introduced, showcasing the brand’s commitment to electrification.
