Aston Martin Valiant: Manual Track Weapon with V12 Engine

Introducing the Aston Martin Valiant: A Track Weapon with a Screaming V12 Engine

The Aston Martin Valiant is a bespoke commission from two-time world champion Fernando Alonso, with only 38 units set to be produced. This limited-run track-focused supercar is a reworking of the exclusive Valour, built to meet Alonso’s personal brief.

Powering the Valiant is a 734bhp 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, delivering an exhilarating performance on the track. The car is road-legal and will make its public debut at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Crafted by the Q by Aston Martin division, the Valiant is an evolution of the Valour from 2023, which was based on a bespoke body structure derived from the V12 Vantage. Alonso’s request for a more extreme, race car-inspired version led Aston engineers to focus on increasing power, enhancing downforce, and reducing weight.

The V12 engine, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, offers 555lb ft of torque and a power boost of 29bhp compared to the Valour. Aston has implemented an obsessive weight-reduction program, including a 3D-printed rear subframe, magnesium torque tube, lithium-ion battery, and lightweight magnesium wheels.

The Valiant’s carbonfibre bodywork features aerodynamic enhancements such as a large front splitter, carbonfibre grille, sculpted wings, and a rear diffuser. The interior is designed for motorsport functionality, with exposed carbonfibre, a new steering wheel, gear selector, and Recaro Podium race seats.

Each of the 38 Valiants will offer high levels of customization, with pricing expected to be close to £2 million. This exclusive supercar combines power, performance, and precision engineering to create a track weapon that is sure to turn heads.
