Aston Martin Unveils the Vanquish: A Powerful and Exclusive Supercar

Aston Martin Vanquish

Introduction

Aston Martin has introduced the Vanquish, the successor to the DBS. This new halo model promises an unprecedented combination of refined comfort, supercar performance, and pinpoint dynamics. With less than 1,000 units being made annually, the Vanquish is set to be an exclusive vehicle.

Powerful Performance

The Vanquish is powered by a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 engine that produces an impressive 824 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, the Vanquish can reach a top speed of 214 mph, making it the fastest series production Aston Martin to date.

Impressive Design

The Vanquish features a mix of classic styling elements and modern details, giving it an assertive design character and greater road presence. The front end showcases a wide grille, Matrix LED headlights, and a pronounced splitter. Moving towards the rear, you’ll find streamlined carbon fiber bodywork, jarring side strakes, and 21-inch forged alloy wheels. The rear end is highlighted by a Kamm Tail, seven LED light blades, and a large diffuser.

Enhanced Handling

Performance extends beyond the engine compartment. The Vanquish boasts a bonded aluminum body structure with a 75% increase in lateral stiffness compared to its predecessor. It also features a revised suspension with Bilstein DTX dampers, allowing for a significant divergence between drive modes. Thicker anti-roll bars, a recalibrated electric power steering system, and a new electronic stability control system further enhance the handling capabilities of the Vanquish.

Luxurious Interior

The Vanquish offers a luxurious two-seater cabin with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. The seats are 16-way power-adjustable and upholstered in Alcantara and semi-aniline leather. Optional wood trim and a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system add to the premium feel of the interior.

Availability and Pricing

Aston Martin has not disclosed the pricing details for the Vanquish. However, the first deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter. With its powerful performance, exclusive production numbers, and stunning design, the Vanquish is sure to be a highly sought-after supercar.
