The Coolest Cruiser: America’s Best-Looking Police Cars

The American Association of State Troopers (AAST) is hosting a nationwide search for the “Coolest Cruiser.” This competition allows the public to vote online for their favorite state trooper vehicle out of 49 contenders. The top 13 vote-getters will be featured in the 2025 AAST calendar, with all proceeds going to charity.

Competition Overview

America’s police cruisers are competing in the annual beauty contest organized by the AAST. The lineup includes models from Ford, Dodge, and Chevrolet, featuring muscle cars, SUVs, sedans, and trucks. Only one state, Massachusetts, entered a fully electric vehicle in the contest, showcasing their Ford Mustang Mach-E alongside a helicopter.

Photography and Creativity

Aside from the variety of vehicles, the contest entries showcase impressive photography skills, capturing the beauty of each state. Some departments went above and beyond by including boats, bikes, and helicopters in their photoshoots.
