Unique BMW 3-Series Turned Pickup for Sale – Only $4,500

About the BMW Pickup

  • The seller is offering a unique BMW 3-Series turned pickup for just $4,500.
  • Extensive modifications transformed this BMW sedan into a custom truck.
  • The listing says the car has been driven 160,000 miles since it was new.

BMW’s History with Pickup Trucks

BMW has experimented with pickup trucks in the past. In 2011, they created a one-off E92 M3 Pickup, and in 2019, they converted an X7 into a truck. However, neither of these prototypes reached production. This didn’t stop the owner of this 3-Series from making their own BMW pickup.

Details of the Listing

The 2007 BMW 335i pickup recently appeared for sale on Facebook’s Marketplace in Fresno, California. The car has a salvage title, which affects its appeal. However, it is listed at a very affordable price of $4,500.

Conversion Process

In the conversion process, the sedan’s two rear doors were removed, and the entire cabin behind the front seats was cut away to make room for a pickup bed. The bed is quite large, although the thick sides reduce the storage space.

Unique Rear Window

Instead of installing a rectangular window like most pickups, the builder used two rear quarter windows from the sedan’s second row to create the rear window of the pickup.
