Introduction

BMW has officially announced that the highly anticipated M5 Touring will be unveiled on August 15 at Pebble Beach. This marks the first time the M5 Touring will be available in the American market, with its arrival at dealerships scheduled for next spring.

Powertrain

The M5 Touring will feature a powerful plug-in hybrid powertrain, delivering an impressive 717 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. This is made possible by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an integrated electric motor.

Performance

The all-wheel drive M5 Touring can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of up to 190 mph with the optional M Driver’s Package. Additionally, the wagon is equipped with a 14.8 kWh battery pack, providing an electric-only range of approximately 25 miles.

Design and Features

The M5 Touring will showcase a sporty and functional design, complemented by features such as an Adaptive M suspension, high-performance brakes, M-specific bracing, and staggered 20- and 21-inch wheels. Inside, drivers can expect an M sport steering wheel, M multifunction seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.9-inch infotainment system, and standard Aluminum Rhombicle trim.

Pricing and Availability

The 2025 BMW M5 Sedan starts at $119,500 and is set to arrive in America later this year. Pricing for the M5 Touring will be announced at a later date, with its release scheduled for the spring of 2025.
