It’s hard to believe that the BMW X5, once considered a “5 Series on stilts,” has become a cornerstone of the Bavarian automaker’s lineup over the past 25 years. To mark this milestone, BMW introduces the X5 Silver Anniversary Edition based on the 2025 X5 xDrive40i, emphasizing its off-road capabilities.

Despite its “Silver” theme, the special edition X5 is painted in the exclusive Lime Rock Grey metallic color. Interior options include Black, Cognac, Coffee, or Silverstone Sensafin upholstery, along with sports seats and carbon fiber trim.

The X5 Silver Anniversary Edition blends elements from the Sport and M Sport packages, featuring 20-inch M Star-spoke bi-color wheels and aluminum-accented bumpers for a rugged look. The off-road focus is further enhanced by the xOffroad Package, offering smart four-wheel-drive management and additional features like two-axle air suspension and underbody protection plates.
