BrightDrop Joins Chevrolet Lineup for 2025

Introduction

General Motors has announced that BrightDrop, its subsidiary launched in 2021, will be integrated into the Chevrolet lineup for 2025. This move allows Chevrolet dealers to sell and service the electric vans, making them more appealing to customers. The vans will now feature Chevrolet branding and slightly revised names.

Chevrolet’s Focus on Commercial Sales and Service

Chevrolet’s decision to incorporate BrightDrop into its lineup provides customers with access to one of the industry’s largest commercial sales and service networks. This integration enhances brand growth opportunities for Chevrolet. All Chevrolet dealers will have the opportunity to sell BrightDrop vans as long as they meet specific requirements. Additionally, these dealers can provide maintenance and repair services for BrightDrop vehicles, benefiting from the larger sales and service network.

Model Year Updates

The BrightDrop Zevo 400 will now be known as the Chevrolet BrightDrop 400, while the BrightDrop Zevo 600 is renamed the Chevrolet BrightDrop 600. Along with the name changes, the vans will feature Chevrolet badging, including a lightly revised grille with a new bowtie emblem. The vans will also receive model year updates, such as Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, and Bicyclist Braking, which are listed as “New for 2025.”
