Authorities in California have apprehended the driver of a white Ford Mustang after he was caught street racing on the Eastbound 10 Freeway in West Covina. The incident led to a high-speed chase with police.

The High-Speed Chase

The incident occurred at around 1:00 a.m. on November 11. OnScene.TV captured footage of two Ford Mustangs, one black and one white, speeding down the 10 Freeway. They were being pursued by a Dodge Charger police cruiser. The vehicles were observed traveling well above the speed limit and eventually took Exit 44 to Dudley Street.

The Crash and Arrest

The driver of the white Mustang lost control on Dudley Street in Pomona. He was immediately stopped by an officer and surrendered. Footage shows him being placed in handcuffs while looking at his damaged muscle car. Police cautiously approached the vehicle after the crash to ensure there were no occupants hiding inside.

Extent of Damage

Although the crash itself was not captured on camera, the aftermath reveals extensive damage to the white Mustang. The passenger side of the vehicle has large dents and streaks on the door and rear quarter panel. One of the rear wheels is severely damaged, indicating suspension issues. The rear bumper was torn off in the crash and made contact with a parked Toyota Corolla. It is unclear if there were any injuries, but the driver of the Mustang seems to have escaped major harm.

Escaped Driver

The driver of the black Ford Mustang managed to evade the police. However, he may face consequences if the identity of the driver of the white Mustang is revealed.
