5.5-liter V8 engine producing 670 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, while the GT features a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged
V6 delivering 647 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque. On paper, they are evenly matched.

The Thrilling Race

The first race between the two cars is incredibly close, with the Z06 taking an early lead and maintaining a
slight advantage throughout most of the quarter-mile. However, just as they approached the finish line, the GT
surged ahead and claimed victory. In a rolling race over the half-mile from 50 mph, the GT initially stumbled but
performed better in the second run, ultimately pulling ahead of the Corvette.

The Turbo Lag Setback

Unfortunately for the Ford GT, things didn’t go as smoothly in the third rolling race. It experienced some turbo
lag, causing it to fall behind the Corvette and unable to catch up.
