Brooks from the DragTimes YouTube channel decided to settle this debate by pitting his Huracan Tecnica against a friend’s Corvette Z06. On paper, both cars seem evenly matched, with the ability to sprint down the quarter-mile in the mid-10-second range. The Huracan Tecnica is equipped with a 5.2-liter naturally-aspirated V10 engine, producing 631 hp and 417 lb-ft (565 Nm) of torque, while the Corvette Z06 boasts a 5.5-liter all-motor V8 engine generating 670 hp and 460 lb-ft (623 Nm) of torque.
The First Race
In the first race, the driver of the Z06 had a slight jump start. However, even with this disadvantage, the Lamborghini Huracan managed to keep up with the Corvette off the line and eventually overtake it as the speeds increased. The Italian stallion crossed the finish line in 10.5 seconds, while the Z06 finished in 11.1 seconds.
The Second Race
The second race was a much closer battle. Both the Chevrolet and the Lamborghini launched off the line with incredible acceleration, proving that forced induction or all-wheel drive are not necessary for a supercar. The Huracan narrowly clinched the victory, completing the quarter-mile in 10.53 seconds at 130.62 mph (210.2 km/h), while the Corvette finished in 10.56 seconds at 128.10 mph (206.1 km/h).
The Final Race
Unfortunately for the Corvette, the third and final race didn’t go as planned. It struggled with traction off the line, resulting in a slower time of 10.995 seconds for the quarter-mile. In comparison, the Huracan blazed through with a time of 10.451 seconds.
