Female Suspect Survives High-Speed Chase and Collision with Big Rig

Introduction

A female suspect miraculously survived a collision with a big rig while attempting to flee from Arkansas State Police.
Despite crashing her Dodge Charger, she managed to escape the wreckage and led the police on a foot pursuit. Now,
she is facing multiple charges.

The Dashcam Video

The incident was captured on the dashcam of Arkansas State Trooper Dairren Evans. It begins with Evans pulling over
a silver Dodge Charger. The reason for the stop was the license plate “USAJCKN,” which came back as a blue Hyundai
Elantra and was expired since 2019. As Evans exits his vehicle, the driver of the Dodge Charger takes off, prompting
a high-speed chase.

A Dangerous Chase

Evans pursues the suspect east on Interstate 40 near West Memphis, reaching speeds exceeding 135 mph (217 km/h) despite
wet roads. Just before reaching the Mississippi River and crossing the state line, the suspect brake checks Trooper
Evans and turns around, resulting in both vehicles traveling at high speeds in the wrong direction.

The Collision

Less than a mile after turning around, the suspect collides head-on with a big rig. Surprisingly, she manages to
exit the Charger and flee across the highway. However, Evans quickly apprehends her and brings her back to the scene
within six minutes.

Charges and Arrest

The suspect now faces 16 charges, including two counts of fleeing, aggravated assault, fictitious tags, no insurance,
reckless driving, and speeding. Despite not requiring medical assistance, she was taken to the Crittenden County
Detention Center.

Conclusion

The collision left the suspect’s vehicle severely damaged, but she managed to escape serious injury. The semi-truck
driver involved in the incident also emerged unharmed, albeit shaken. This incident serves as a reminder of the
dangers of high-speed pursuits and the importance of law enforcement in ensuring public safety.
