Ferrari with Nissan Silvia S14 nose

A Ferrari Mash-Up Like No Other

An engineer from New Zealand has created a one-of-a-kind Ferrari by grafting a Nissan Silvia S14 nose onto a Ferrari 456. This unique creation started as a V12-powered 456 GT that had been abandoned in a field with front-end damage. Reuben Bemrose, the engineer behind the project, purchased the wreck for just $1,500 NZ ($900) and transformed it into a masterpiece.

A Mazda Rotary Engine Swap

But the modifications didn’t stop at the nose. Bemrose also swapped the original Ferrari engine with a naturally-aspirated Mazda 13B rotary engine. The entire project cost him just $13,000 NZ ($7,800). The result is a truly unique Ferrari with a powerful and unconventional engine.

Other Impressive Projects

This Ferrari mash-up is not the only impressive project from Bemrose. He has also built a Subaru Impreza with a 1,200 hp Toyota 2JZ inline six engine. His creations have gained attention in the automotive community and have been showcased at drift events.

A Stunning Transformation

The Ferrari mash-up, now painted in a custom red color, looks stunning. The Nissan Silvia S14 front-end conversion adds a unique and aggressive touch to the classic Ferrari design. Bemrose’s attention to detail is evident in the homemade fiberglass clamshell hood and the integration of the S14’s slim headlights.

No Cease and Desist

Despite the unconventional modifications, Bemrose has not received a cease and desist letter from Ferrari. While the use of Ferrari badges on the car’s hood may not be authorized, there is no pressure for Bemrose to remove them.
