Fisker Ronin: 1000bhp, 600-mile GT for $385K

Fisker Opens Reservations for All-Electric Supercar with 600-Mile Range and Over 1000bhp

Fisker, the renowned electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced that reservations are now open for its highly anticipated all-electric supercar, the Fisker Ronin. Set to be released in the second half of 2025, the Ronin boasts an impressive range of 600 miles and over 1000bhp. With a limited production run of just 999 cars, this sleek convertible grand tourer is priced at $385,000 in the US.

The Fisker Ronin was unveiled at the company’s first-ever Product Vision event in California. Henrik Fisker, the CEO of Fisker, describes the Ronin as “the EV for somebody who craves what’s next” and “the ultimate long-distance grand touring car.” The four-door, five-seat supercar features a triple-motor, all-wheel-drive setup, targeting a power output of over 1000bhp and a blistering 0-62mph time of 2.0 seconds. The Ronin will also come equipped with active aerodynamics, although specific details have yet to be confirmed.

Visually, the Ronin bears a resemblance to other high-performance electric vehicles such as the Porsche Taycan and Mercedes-AMG EQS 53. It shares design elements with the Fisker Ocean SUV, which recently entered production in Austria.

One of the standout features of the Ronin is its impressive range of 600 miles, which would make it the longest range in a production electric vehicle. Fisker attributes this extended range to a unique method of drawing power from a battery pack integrated into the chassis. Although the size of this innovative pack has not been disclosed, it promises to deliver exceptional performance and efficiency.

In terms of design, the Ronin breaks away from convention by featuring a carbon fiber hardtop convertible roof instead of cloth. The supercar also boasts four butterfly doors and rides on a set of 23-inch carbon fiber wheels. Inside, the Ronin offers a luxurious and high-tech interior, highlighted by a 17.1-inch high-resolution screen and an instrument cluster. The interior incorporates several sustainable materials, aligning with Fisker’s commitment to eco-friendly practices.

Henrik Fisker emphasizes that the Ronin is not just about pushing the boundaries of performance but also redefining the supercar of the future. He states, “We wanted the ultimate driving experience and a new type of luxury. We believe in creating something completely different.” Fisker aims to provide a car that drivers will want to continuously drive without worrying about frequent stops, hence the emphasis on a long range.

Production and deliveries for the Fisker Ronin are scheduled to commence in late 2025. The development of the Ronin is being overseen by Fisker’s Magic Works facility in the UK, led by ex-Aston Martin special vehicles boss Dave King. This project presents unique challenges, as the absence of a B-pillar requires a strong lower rocker structure to ensure side impact safety.

The Fisker Ronin is part of Fisker’s ambitious plan to put one million electric vehicles on the road by 2027. The company aims to expand its operations and become a million-cars-per-year business beyond 2030.

With its groundbreaking range, impressive power output, and striking design, the Fisker Ronin is set to make waves in the world of electric supercars. As reservations open for this limited-edition model, enthusiasts and collectors alike eagerly await the opportunity to experience the ultimate long-distance grand touring car firsthand.
