Ford’s Recent Earnings Call Hints at New Bronco and Maverick Variants

Did Ford Tease New Bronco and Maverick Variants in Recent Earnings Call?

It has been a challenge for car enthusiasts to get their hands on a Ford Maverick or Bronco, both of which have been highly sought after since their initial releases. However, there may be some good news on the horizon. Recent language found in Ford’s third-quarter sales results suggests that new variants of these popular vehicles could be on the way, as reported by Motor 1.

Potential Maverick and Bronco Variants

While there have been spy shots circulating of a possible sporty Maverick ST, these images are quite dated and no new information has emerged since then. Alternatively, Ford could be referring to a Maverick Raptor, which would offer a significant performance upgrade for the compact pickup truck.

When it comes to the Bronco, Ford did not specify whether they were referring to the Bronco Sport or the full-size Bronco model. Last year, Ford unveiled the Bronco Raptor, so it is possible that they are hinting at a Bronco Raptor R with a supercharged V8 engine, following in the footsteps of the F-150 Raptor R.

Possible Special Trims or Editions

It is also worth considering that Ford may simply be referring to special trims or editions of the existing models. For example, the Bronco received a heritage-themed variant last year, and the Maverick got a Tremor model. Therefore, it is plausible that Ford could release similar versions in the near future. However, it has been confirmed by Ford representative Mike Levine that there will not be a plug-in hybrid variant of the Maverick.

Overall, it seems that Ford has exciting plans in store for the Maverick and Bronco, with the potential for new variants or special editions. Car enthusiasts will have to stay tuned for further updates from Ford to see what they have in store for these highly popular vehicles.
