Most of the F40s that participated in the recent Legacy Tour were painted in the classic shade of red. However, a special F40 painted in a striking shade of mint green known as Verde Pallido also made an appearance. This unique color was inspired by the Ferrari 250 GTO that Sir Stirling Moss raced at the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans. Although this car was not included in the main straight photo shoot at the Fiorano circuit, its presence added to the diversity of the event.
