Genesis GV70 Project Overland: A Modified SUV for Off-Road Adventures

The Genesis GV70 is a remarkable SUV that offers some all-terrain capabilities. However, a unique collaboration between Delta 4×4 and Genesis Europe has resulted in the creation of the GV70 Project Overland. This one-off concept vehicle has undergone several modifications to enhance its off-road performance.

Enhanced Off-Road Capabilities

Underneath its sleek exterior, the modified Genesis GV70 boasts a suspension lift that increases its ride height by 50 mm (1.9 inches) at all four corners. This modification provides the SUV with improved ground clearance, allowing it to tackle challenging terrains with ease. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with aftermarket 18-inch black wheels and Continental ATR tires, ensuring optimal traction on various surfaces.

Exterior Modifications

The front fascia of the GV70 has been redesigned by Delta 4×4, featuring four LED driving lights from Baja Designs. These lights are mounted on the blacked-out plastic, adding a rugged and aggressive look to the SUV. The vehicle also sports flared front and rear wheel arches, along with a matte black roof rack. The roof rack not only accommodates two large LED light bars but also provides space for luggage boxes and recovery tracks in bright orange.

Showcasing at Essen Motor Show

The GV70 Project Overland will be showcased at the Continental booth during the Essen Motor Show in Germany, taking place from December 1 to December 10. This event provides enthusiasts with the opportunity to witness the impressive capabilities and modifications of this unique Genesis SUV.

This particular GV70 has previously gained attention when Genesis Europe released photos of it in October. At that time, it was used to promote a retractable rooftop tent from iKamper, which transformed the SUV into a luxury camper.
