The Genesis GV70, a gasoline-powered SUV, is facing a recall after a concerning incident at a dealership in the United States. Genesis plans to contact 2024 GV70 owners in the U.S. starting May 14. Owners will be asked to return their SUVs to a nearby dealer for inspection and necessary replacements of the control harness connector, control harness, and transmission’s internal wiring. Until the recall is completed, Genesis strongly advises GV70 owners to apply the parking brake before leaving their vehicles.
