Genesis Unveils Revamped GV80 Crossover and GV80 Coupe
Genesis, the luxury brand, showcased the redesigned GV80 crossover and introduced the production version of the GV80 Coupe at an event in Los Angeles. The GV80 Coupe joins the trend of cut-roofed vehicles like the BMW X6 and Mercedes GLE Coupe.
The Stylish GV80
The GV80 features a fresh front end with a newly designed two-line crest grille and signature two-line headlamps, which have become a successful styling cue across the Genesis lineup. The vehicle stands out with larger air intakes, a skid plate, and new brightwork down the flanks. At the rear, the bumper integrates exhaust tips, while body-colored lines create a cohesive look.
The Sleek GV80 Coupe
The GV80 Coupe shares similar front end treatments with its sibling but stands out with a distinct arch-shaped parabolic line when viewed from the side. It offers unique wheel designs, including a 21-inch option, to enhance its expressive appeal.
Luxurious Interior Updates
Inside the GV80 Coupe, drivers will find a two-tone D-cut steering wheel, carbon garnish patterns, and exclusive seat upholstery designs. The GV80 showcases a 27-inch-wide OLED display that integrates the multimedia screen with touch-based ventilation controls. Additionally, the crystal-like gear selector has been redesigned to enhance the overall interior aesthetic.
Powerful Engine Options
The GV80 SUV will be available with two powertrain options: a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four engine producing 300 horsepower and a 3.5-liter twin-turbo engine generating 375 horsepower. The GV80 Coupe also offers two engine choices, including the 3.5-liter twin-turbo with a 48V electric supercharger, delivering an impressive 409 horsepower.
Availability and Pricing
Further details regarding the availability, measurements, and pricing of the 2025 GV80 SUV and GV80 Coupe will be announced next year.
