GTA 6 Unveils First Official Video Set in Florida | Giga Gears

Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer

Introduction

The highly anticipated trailer for the latest installment in Rockstar Games’ iconic franchise, Grand Theft Auto, has finally been released. The trailer confirms that the game will be set in Vice City and unveils the disappointing news that players will have to wait until 2025 to experience Grand Theft Auto VI.

Setting and Protagonist

The trailer showcases a modern-day version of Florida called Leonida, which serves as the backdrop for the game. Much of the action takes place in its rendition of Miami, Vice City. The main character introduced in the video is Lucia, who will be the first playable female protagonist in the series.

Initially depicted in prison overalls, Lucia quickly transitions to the outside world. Throughout the trailer, she is seen wielding firearms, surrounded by stacks of cash, and concealing her identity with a bandana. These visuals suggest her involvement in illicit activities, aligning with the characteristics of previous protagonists in the series.

Vehicle Variety

As expected from a game titled Grand Theft Auto, the trailer showcases a wide array of vehicles. These include simulated supercars resembling the Porsche 911 and Ferrari Testarosa (known as the Cheetah in the series), a C8 Corvette, a Lamborghini Aventador parked in front of a club, as well as vehicles resembling the Dodge Challenger, Chrysler 300, and classic lowriders.

In addition to cars, the trailer also features lifted trucks in muddy terrains, motorcycles, ATVs, planes, boats, and even a fan boat, capturing the essence of Florida’s unique culture.

Release Details

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to be released in 2025 and will be available on the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
