Hennessey’s H850 Ford Mustang Dark Horse Enters Production

Hennessey introduced their H850 program for the Ford Mustang Dark Horse last summer and now the company has revealed the high-performance pony car has gone into production. On top of that, they’ve revealed performance data for the model.

Powerful Performance Upgrades

The tuned model features a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine with 850 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. This extra power enables the car to run the quarter mile in 10.9 seconds at 133 mph.

Engine Enhancements

The naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 has been equipped with a new fuel pump, upgraded fuel injectors, and a supercharger. These enhancements, along with a high-flow air induction system and a high-performance engine tune, increase the output to 850 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque.

Impressive Performance Numbers

With these modifications, Hennessey-tuned Mustangs accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and complete the quarter mile in 10.9 seconds at 133 mph. In comparison, the stock model takes 3.7 seconds to reach 60 mph and runs the quarter mile in 12 seconds at 118.4 mph.

Exciting Features

Hennessey’s H850 Mustang Dark Horse comes with embroidered headrests, H850 badging, and a three-year or 36,000-mile limited warranty. The vehicle is also available with a manual transmission option.
