Heading: Hennessey Performance Launches Comprehensive Upgrade Package for Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing

Hennessey Performance has recently launched a comprehensive upgrade package for the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, making it even more powerful and forcing a few supercar owners to question their vehicle purchases. The upgrade package includes porting the cylinder heads of the 6.2-liter supercharged V8, enhanced intake and exhaust valves, improved lifters and pushrods, oversized heat exchangers, long-tube stainless steel headers, a custom camshaft, an upgraded fuel system, a new air intake, and high-flow catalytic converters.

The standard supercharger of the CT5-V Blackwing has been removed and replaced with a larger one engineered by Hennessey itself. The result is a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing with the Hennessey H1000 package that is now good for 1,000 hp and 966 lb-ft (1,309 Nm) of torque. This is a massive gain over the 668 hp and 659 lb-ft (893 Nm) of the standard car. Hennessey claims that its creation can run down the quarter-mile in just 10.1 seconds.

Heading: John Hennessey’s Statement

John Hennessey described the CT5-V Blackwing as a natural candidate for their EXORCIST upgrade as it improves power considerably without affecting drivability. He also stated that the four-door Cadillac is the fastest combustion-only luxury sedan on the planet and is a rare high-water mark in a segment that will vanish by the decade’s end.

Heading: Warranty and Production Details

Each CT5-V Blackwing modified by Hennessey includes a 2-year, 24,000-mile limited warranty. However, pricing details haven’t been announced yet. What we do know is that production of the upgrade package will start in August.
