Hybrid Jeep Avenger 4XE Introduces AWD to Europe’s Compact SUV Market

Introducing the Jeep Avenger 4xe: A New Era of All-Wheel Drive

Jeep’s First-Ever EV with All-Wheel Drive

Last year, Jeep made waves with the launch of the Avenger, its first-ever electric vehicle. However, some fans felt that the front-wheel-drive setup didn’t quite capture the essence of a true Jeep. Enter the Avenger 4xe, a new mild-hybrid version that brings all-wheel drive to the smallest SUV in Jeep’s lineup.

All-Wheel Drive Capability

The Avenger 4xe combines a 134 hp four-cylinder petrol engine with a 28 hp electric motor at the front and a second electric motor at the back axle. This configuration not only provides all-wheel drive for the Avenger but also sets it apart from other small SUVs in Europe that lack this option.

Hybrid Technology

While not a traditional plug-in hybrid, the Avenger 4xe can operate in full electric power at low speeds. The petrol engine drives the front wheels through a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the rear wheels are solely powered by electric motors.

Concept to Reality

Jeep showcased a concept version of the 4xe at the Paris Motor Show in 2022, and the production model stays true to its rugged design. With features like a new front bumper design, green accents, chunky tires, and raised ride height, the Avenger 4xe stands out from the crowd.

Coming Soon to Europe

The Avenger 4xe will be available for order in Europe by the end of 2024, expanding the Avenger lineup. Until then, customers can choose from petrol variants with mild-hybrid technology or an all-electric powertrain that offers a range of 248 miles.

Experience the Future of All-Wheel Drive

Get ready to explore the outdoors in style with the Jeep Avenger 4xe. With its innovative hybrid technology and all-wheel drive capability, this SUV is set to redefine adventure on European roads.
