Hyundai Alcazar Receives Facelift in India

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift

Introduction

Hyundai has unveiled the facelifted version of the Alcazar in India. The SUV features a heavily redesigned exterior, giving it a more boxy and aggressive stance. This update brings the Alcazar in line with the recently facelifted Hyundai Creta.

Exterior Design

The new Alcazar boasts split headlights with the H pattern incorporated in the LED graphics. The front bumper features a wider grille and a generously-sized skid plate. The sculpted profile remains familiar, but the SUV now sports 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and modern-styled roof rails. At the rear, the LED taillights are connected, creating another H-shaped design feature. The rear bumper is dominated by an aluminum-style trim piece and fake vents.

Interior and Features

While Hyundai hasn’t released photos of the interior, it is expected that the Alcazar will receive a digital cockpit sourced from the Creta, featuring dual 10.25-inch displays. The SUV will also come equipped with advanced technology, comfort, and safety features. It will be available in both six- and seven-seater configurations.

Powertrain Options

The Alcazar will retain its predecessor’s powertrain lineup, including non-electrified gasoline and diesel options. The gasoline version will be powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter T-GDi engine producing 158 horsepower, while the diesel variant will feature a 1.5-liter CRDi engine with 113 horsepower. Both engines will be paired with manual and automatic transmission options.

Availability and Pre-Orders

Hyundai has started accepting pre-orders for the facelifted Alcazar in India. The SUV is set to launch in the market on September 9.

Conclusion

The facelifted Hyundai Alcazar showcases a more aggressive and modern design, aligning it with Hyundai’s latest SUV lineup. With its updated exterior, advanced features, and reliable powertrain options, the Alcazar is poised to continue its success in the Indian market.
