Ineos Grenadier Reveals V8, Eight-Seat, and Rally-Raid Versions | Giga Gears

Ineos Unveils Exciting Grenadier Concepts at Goodwood Festival of Speed

At this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, Ineos showcased five exciting concepts that hint at potential future additions to the Grenadier 4×4 line-up. These prototypes include a V8-engined version and an FIA-approved rally car, along with the limited-run Grenadier Detour from Ineos’s bespoke division, Arcane Works.

While Ineos has not confirmed production plans for these concepts, they provide a glimpse of what could be in store for the Grenadier family. The company’s smaller electric model, the Fusilier 4×4, has been delayed indefinitely due to concerns over EV uptake and legislation.

The Grenadier’s body-on-frame chassis has proven to be versatile, leading Ineos to explore new product offerings and limited editions. CEO Lynn Calder emphasized that the Grenadier is “built for more,” and the company aims to showcase its innovation in the coming years.

One concept features raised suspension, portal axles, and offset wheel hubs, resulting in increased ground clearance and wading depth. Another concept, the ‘Shortermaster,’ offers a chopped-down version of the Quartermaster pick-up for enhanced practicality.

In addition to these unique concepts, Ineos has explored a range-topping V8-powered Grenadier prototype and an eight-seater Safari model designed for demanding terrains. Buzz Special Vehicles also presented a radical rally car for the 2025 World Rally-Raid Championship.

While Ineos has not confirmed production plans for these concepts, they demonstrate the company’s commitment to innovation and expanding the Grenadier line-up. Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting developments from Ineos Automotive.
