“Introducing Ford Everest Tremor: Raptor-Inspired SUV | Giga Gears”

Ford Unveils the Rugged and Off-Road-Focused Everest Tremor SUV

The Ford Everest has received the Tremor treatment, just like its sibling, the Ranger pickup. This new version of the Everest is exclusively available in Australia and offers a more rugged and off-road-focused driving experience. With upgrades such as all-terrain tires and a Tremor-specific suspension, the Everest Tremor is ready to take on any adventure.

Off-Road Capabilities

The Everest Tremor features a set of black wheels wrapped in General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain tires, providing enhanced off-road traction. It also comes equipped with Bilstein Position-Sensitive Dampers and new springs that increase ground clearance by 26 mm (1 inch). Additionally, the SUV boasts a Rock Crawl mode, similar to the Ranger Raptor.

Powerful Performance

Under the hood, the Everest Tremor is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine, delivering an impressive 247 horsepower (184 kW / 250 PS) and 600 Nm (442.5 lb-ft) of torque. This SUV maintains a maximum braked towing capacity of 3,500 kg (7,716 pounds). The power is managed by a 10-speed automatic transmission, providing smooth and efficient performance on all terrains.

Distinctive Design

The exterior of the Everest Tremor features a new honeycomb grille, a steel bash plate, heavy-duty side steps, and eye-catching orange Tremor badges against an exclusive Command Grey paint. Inside, the SUV offers Tremor-embossed leather seats, all-weather floor mats, and ebony-colored inserts, creating a stylish and comfortable cabin.

Pricing and Availability

The Ford Everest Tremor starts at AU$76,590 (US$51,675), making it slightly pricier than the Ranger Tremor but still more affordable than the Everest Platinum flagship. Optional extras include the Rough Terrain Pack with ARB off-road gear, as well as the Touring Pack, Premium Seat Pack, and Towing Pack. The SUV is already available to order through Australian dealers and is set to enter production in November 2024. The exact number of Everest Tremors to be built has not been specified by Ford.

With the introduction of the Everest Tremor, Ford aims to provide Australian customers with a capable and adventurous SUV that can handle any off-road challenge. This new addition to the Ford lineup showcases the brand’s commitment to delivering high-performance and rugged vehicles for all types of driving enthusiasts.
