Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition: The Return for 2025

Jeep has made a surprising move that has left customers of the 2024 Wrangler 392 Final Edition feeling betrayed. Despite the model being initially discontinued, it is now set to return for the 2025 model year due to what Jeep claims is “popular demand.”

Customer Outrage Over the Sudden Reversal

If you were one of the customers who paid a premium price for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition, this news may come as a shock. Many buyers shelled out extra money for this supposedly limited edition model, only to find out that it will be back in production for the following year.

Stellantis’ History of Switching Things Up

This isn’t the first time Stellantis, Jeep’s parent company, has made such a move. Previously, they faced backlash from Dodge Durango Hellcat buyers when they changed course on production plans for that model as well.

Jeep’s Justification and Positive Spin

Despite the potential backlash and comparisons to previous lawsuits, Jeep is framing this decision as a response to customer feedback. Bill Peffer of Jeep emphasized that the decision to continue production was based on the overwhelming support and interest shown by the Jeep community.

Features and Updates for the 2025 Model

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition will retain many of the features that made the 2024 model popular. This includes an 8,000 lbs Warn winch, heavy-duty rock sliders, and a half-inch suspension lift. Additionally, it will come equipped with 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, an electronic front sway-bar disconnect system, and Dana 44 axles with Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials.

Power and Performance

Under the hood, the 2025 Wrangler 392 Final Edition will feature a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine producing 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and complete a quarter-mile run in just 13 seconds.

What’s Next for Interested Buyers

While pricing details have not been disclosed yet, orders for the 2025 model are expected to open in the fall with production slated for early next year. Jeep has also confirmed that certain exclusive features, such as the Mopar triple loop grille guard and 83-piece toolkit, will remain unique to the 2024 Wrangler 392 Final Edition.
