Kimera Automobili Introduces New Models: EVO38 and K-39

Kimera Automobili, a renowned name in resurrecting classic cars, has announced the development of two new models: the EVO38 and the K-39. These models, set to debut in 2024, will continue to pay homage to the iconic Lancia 037 while incorporating modern enhancements.

EVO38: The Integrale Version

The Kimera EVO38, often referred to as the “integrale” version of the EVO37, will feature a four-wheel-drive system, reminiscent of the rally cars from the mid-80s. The design of the EVO38 remains faithful to its Lancia inspiration, with minor updates that give it a refreshed look.

Kimera has revealed that the EVO38 will come with a redesigned bodykit, aimed at improving airflow, weight distribution, and ventilation. Inside the car, drivers can expect enhanced ergonomics and a dedicated traction distribution management interface. Mechanical upgrades include a larger centrally-mounted turbocharger and a new exhaust system with vertical “chimney” pipes positioned under the rear wing.

K-39: The Hyper-Restomod

The Kimera K-39 is described as a “hyper-restomod” designed for motorsport enthusiasts. Previewed by a 1:5 scale prototype, this model showcases a longer body with prominent aero components, paying tribute to the classic Lancia Beta Turbo. Kimera plans to produce a limited number of units for lucky customers, featuring the iconic Martini Racing livery.

Preview and Availability

The new Kimera models will be showcased at the Milano Autoclassica show on November 17, giving enthusiasts a glimpse of what’s to come. The official premieres of the EVO38 and K-39 are scheduled for 2024. Given the overwhelming demand for the sold-out EVO37, it is expected that these new models will have limited availability and premium pricing.
