Kimera K39 Racecar: Pikes Peak Challenge and Road-Legal Conversion | Giga Gears

Kimera Automobili Set to Unveil K39 Racecar on June 22

Kimera Automobili is gearing up for the launch of its latest creation, the K39 racecar, on June 22. This “hyper-restomod” model takes inspiration from the EVO37 and EVO38 but features a completely redesigned bodykit.

Inspired by the classic Lancia 037, the Kimera K39 will sport a Martini Racing livery and is expected to make its mark at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The racecar boasts a unique design with quad round LED headlights, a longer tail with a massive rear wing, full-width LED taillights, a roof-mounted fin, wide fender extensions, side vents, and an oversized diffuser.

Drawing influence from the iconic “Silhouette” racecar of the Martini Racing Team, which dominated the World Sportscar Championship in the ’70s and ’80s, the K39 promises to be a true powerhouse on the track.

While specific technical details are yet to be revealed, it’s safe to assume that the K39 will outperform its predecessors with a tuned powertrain and track-focused chassis setup. The company is also hinting at a potential road-legal conversion for a select group of collectors.

Stay tuned for the official unveiling of the Kimera K39 on June 22, along with an exciting announcement about its future endeavors in motorsport.
