“Lancia Zero Electric Sports Car Concept Wins 2024 Design Contest”

Winners of Drive for Design Contest Unveiled

Stellantis recently announced the winners of this year’s Drive for Design contest, and the results are impressive. The contest, open exclusively to U.S. high school students, saw three talented individuals create futuristic designs for Lancia vehicles.

Rohan Seiber Takes First Place

Rohan Seiber, an 11th grader, clinched the top spot with his innovative Lancia Zero electric sports car concept. The design features a wedge-like shape, unique ‘banding’ treatment, sporty diffuser, and a rear wing with integrated taillights.

Ryan Panizzoli Secures Second Place

In second place is 10th grader Ryan Panizzoli with an unnamed liftback design. Inspired by Dyson, the model includes a slide-out “cooking station,” adding a touch of functionality to the futuristic vehicle.

Owen Bronson Grabs Third Place

10th grader Owen Bronson’s creation, the Lancia Pugnale, earned him third place. Named after the Italian word for dagger, the model is a modern interpretation of the 1970 Stratos Zero concept. It boasts an edgy design with concave wheels, circular taillights, and a Y-shaped front fascia accent.

Prizes and Opportunities

Aside from the recognition, all three winners will receive exciting prizes. Seiber will enjoy a Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 tablet and a summer design internship opportunity with the Ram Design Studio. Panizzoli and Bronson will each receive an Apple iPad Pro, Apple Pencil, and a scholarship to attend the VisCom1 summer program at the College for Creative Studies. They will also have the chance to interact with the Stellantis Design Team.

Overall, this year’s Drive for Design contest showcased incredible talent and creativity among young designers, proving that the future of automotive design is in good hands.
