Mahindra to Unveil Vision of Global Pik Up Truck in South Africa
Mahindra, the Indian automaker, is set to reveal its vision for a “Global Pik Up” truck on August 15 in Cape Town, South Africa. The concept truck, codenamed Z121, is expected to be based on the Scorpio N platform and will likely result in a production model. The Z121 concept is anticipated to share the underpinnings with the Mahindra Scorpio N, but with a longer wheelbase. Both engines can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. The truck will come with standard rear-wheel-drive and optional all-wheel-drive.
