Manhart Upgrades Mercedes-AMG C63 S with More Power and Spicy Exhaust

Manhart Unveils CRE 700 Tuning Kit for Mercedes-AMG C63 S

Introduction

Manhart has introduced the CRE 700 tuning kit for the latest Mercedes-AMG C63 S (W206), aiming to enhance both power and sound in response to the switch from a V8 to a plug-in hybrid 4-cylinder setup.

Increased Power

The Mercedes-AMG C63 S E Performance comes with an impressive 671 hp and 1,020 Nm of torque from the factory. With the addition of Manhart’s MHtronic module, the power output is boosted to 715 hp and 1,120 Nm of torque.

Enhanced Sound

Manhart has also upgraded the exhaust system with sport downpipes and catalytic converters, resulting in a more powerful and engaging sound, addressing the lack of charisma in the stock setup.

Visual Enhancements

Visually, the CRE 700 features subtle tweaks while retaining the AMG bodykit and 20-inch AMG wheels. The interior includes bucket seats, red seatbelts, and carbon fiber accents, with additional touches like blacked-out emblems and unique badges.

Suspension and Future Plans

The sedan now rides on H&R springs, lowering it by 20 mm. While there are currently no changes to the braking system, Manhart is open to upgrades based on customer demand. The company is also considering further tuning options for the PHEV model in the future.

Conclusion

The Manhart CRE 700 tuning kit offers a blend of increased power, enhanced sound, and subtle visual enhancements for the Mercedes-AMG C63 S, catering to enthusiasts looking to add more personality to their driving experience.
