Modellista Brings Custom Toyota and Lexus Models to U.S., Unveiling at SEMA | Giga Gears

Modellista, Toyota’s in-house tuning specialist, is set to make its debut in the U.S. market at the 2023 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. This marks a significant milestone for the tuning brand as it will be its first official appearance at a major automotive event outside of Asia. Modellista will showcase three models at the event: the Toyota Crown crossover, Lexus RX, and Lexus LX.

The decision to expand into the U.S. market demonstrates Modellista’s commitment to catering to local preferences and regulations. Rather than importing its entire Japanese catalog, the tuning brand plans to provide products tailored specifically for the U.S. market. Currently, Modellista is considering nine models for North America, including the Lexus IS, NX, RX, LX, as well as the Toyota Corolla, Prius, Crown Crossover, Venza, and RAV4.

One of Modellista’s key focuses is on “aero parts,” which aligns with its specialization in visual enhancements. In Japan, the tuning brand offers two variations of body kits for each model, featuring components such as bumper extensions, side skirts, spoilers, mufflers, wheels, and other exterior trim pieces. It remains to be seen whether a similar strategy will be adopted in the United States.

To prepare for its U.S. expansion, Modellista is currently in talks with local dealers and distributors. The tuning brand aims to have a comprehensive sales rollout in the near future. More details about Modellista’s plans for the U.S. market are expected to be revealed during the official presentation at SEMA, which will take place from October 31 to November 3.

Modellista’s presence at SEMA is an exciting development for car enthusiasts in the U.S. The tuning brand is known for its high-quality and visually striking modifications that enhance the overall look of Toyota and Lexus models. With its entry into the U.S. market, car owners will have access to a wider range of customization options to personalize their vehicles.

The Toyota Crown crossover, one of the models that will be showcased at SEMA, is expected to receive more aggressive looks thanks to GR Parts and Modellista. This collaboration between Modellista and Toyota’s performance division, GR Parts, demonstrates the tuning brand’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and performance.

In addition to the Toyota Crown crossover, Modellista will also present modified versions of the Lexus RX and Lexus LX at SEMA. These luxury SUVs will be upgraded with Modellista’s body kits, which are designed to enhance their already stylish and sophisticated appearance.

Modellista’s entry into the U.S. market is a testament to the growing popularity of car customization. Car owners are increasingly looking for ways to make their vehicles stand out from the crowd and reflect their personal style. With Modellista’s expertise in visual enhancements, U.S. customers can expect a wide range of options to transform their cars into unique works of art.

As Modellista prepares for its U.S. debut at SEMA, car enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the unveiling of its tailored offerings for the American market. With its reputation for high-quality modifications and attention to detail, Modellista is poised to make a significant impact in the U.S. tuning scene. Stay tuned for more updates on Modellista’s U.S. expansion and the exciting modifications it has in store for Toyota and Lexus models.
