“Nissan Qashqai 2025 Facelift Teaser, Debut Date April 17”

2025 Nissan Qashqai Facelift Teaser Unveiled

Nissan is gearing up for an early facelift of its popular compact SUV, the Qashqai. The upcoming model is set to debut on April 17 in Europe, with a release in other markets, including Australia, expected shortly after. Unfortunately, the Qashqai will not be available in the U.S. due to Nissan’s decision to discontinue the Rogue Sport.

Exterior Updates

The teaser video released by Nissan showcases some of the exterior changes to the Qashqai. The focus of the updates is on the redesigned front end, featuring a wider grille and sharper headlights. The front bumper has also been revised, with larger triangular intakes creating a more dynamic look.

Interior Enhancements

While details on the interior updates are limited, it is expected that the Qashqai will receive new upholstery materials for a refreshed cabin feel. The current model already boasts a digital cockpit and steering wheel, which are likely to carry over with some enhancements in terms of graphics and comfort features.

Powertrain and Technology

There are no significant changes expected in the powertrain lineup, as the Qashqai already offers a range of mild-hybrid and full hybrid options. The entry-level turbocharged 1.3-liter mild-hybrid engine delivers 138 hp, while the flagship e-Power 1.5-liter hybrid produces 187 hp with the assistance of an electric motor. Nissan has also confirmed plans for a fully electric version of the Qashqai post-2025.
