The Pickup Design Ram 1500 TRX Extreme: A Customized Beast

Poland’s Carlex Design subsidiary, Pickup Design, has recently unveiled the TRX Extreme, a highly modified version of the Ram 1500 TRX. This custom truck features a range of exterior and interior enhancements that make it stand out from the crowd.

Exterior Modifications

The TRX Extreme boasts several exterior modifications that enhance its ruggedness and durability. The front fascia, bumper, and wheel arches have been coated with Pickup Design’s Line-X coating, providing added protection against knocks and scratches. The truck also features unique side steps, rock sliders, and a prominent roof-mounted light bar. The wing mirrors and rear bumper have been treated with the black Line-X coating as well. The most eye-catching addition is the color-matched bicycle rack above the bed, which is made by Pickup Design using Thule components. The truck is further enhanced with 18-inch wheels, yellow painted brake calipers, and black graphics across the body.

Luxurious Interior

Carlex Design specializes in interior customization, and the TRX Extreme’s cabin is a testament to their expertise. Virtually every part of the interior is wrapped in luscious natural leather, including the seats, steering wheel, door panels, transmission tunnel, center console, and lower half of the dashboard. The yellow leather upholstery is complemented by a bright yellow Alcantara headliner, yellow air vents, black Alcantara on the top of the dashboard and door panels, and yellow carbon fiber elements. The result is a luxurious and visually striking interior that perfectly complements the truck’s aggressive exterior.

Unchanged Powertrain

While Pickup Design has made extensive modifications to the exterior and interior of the TRX Extreme, they have left the powertrain untouched. The truck still retains its impressive 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 engine, which delivers a staggering 702 horsepower. With this level of power, the TRX Extreme is already a force to be reckoned with on and off the road.

Pricing and Availability

If you’re interested in owning a TRX Extreme, be prepared to pay a premium. The fully converted truck by Pickup Design starts at a minimum price of €169,900 ($182,000). This means that the upgrades alone are worth almost €70,000 ($75,000). While it may not be cheap, the TRX Extreme is undoubtedly a head-turning and unique pickup truck that will make a statement wherever it goes.
